How many times have you looked admiringly at someone in great shape and thought to yourself, “Wow, she has nice weight?” I bet never. You don’t notice someone’s weight. This book makes sense to me. I have had the wrong ideas about losing weight. There is also a facebook page you can refer to and ask questions.

I have followed the principles in this book for several years and it does work! I hope Brian and the others that advocate high intensity training and proper nutrition find a large following – we will be a healthier society if they do. However, I am not optimistic in the short term. I have friends that have seen the difference it has made with me yet I can not convince them to try.

In keeping with the simple brevity of Brian Murray’s book, I’ll say that “Stop Trying to Lose Weight” offers powerful and revolutionary means of getting and staying fit. It is a concise, thoughtful, well-researched and convincing articulation of principles.

I’ve been doing high-intensity weight training in Los Angeles and Toronto for three years now. While it has has largely changed my life and body, most people just can’t believe that such effective results can be had through relatively little time of exercise. Brian Murray sets down the case for “less is more,” gets us to think about the purpose of exercise and how it works on the body, and convincingly shows how a single-minded focus on weight-loss only makes us less healthy and “fatter” in the end.

The book will, I hope, help to shift our attitude to fitness. I highly recommend it to anyone who has been trying to lose weight. Brian Murray will explain to you why you haven’t been successful so far — and offer you keys to success.

June 17 2010—Made the switch a few weeks ago. No longer trying to get results the “hard way”. What a difference!!

Brian has the answer. It is not what you have been led to believe by the fitness and diet industries.

Long overdue, easy to comprehend, accurate, honest information in Stop Trying to Lose Weight.

Purchased more books to give as gifts…
